Bob’s odd sense of humor

My husband looked at the world a bit cockeyed. His humor showed by the way he laughed at odd happenings.

When I wrote this column, we had been married 9 years. I was still learning about life with Bob.

Bob really cracked me up. He was quiet but if you listened to what he mumbled you’d end up laughing.

In sharing these posts, I keep Bob close to me.

A visitor to the farm

Sunny stopped before going into the backdoor. He had sensed something and looked up.

So did I.

This is what we saw.

Luckily, I had my phone in my pocket and could take these photos.

The third photo wasn’t worth saving as it only had part of the eagle’s wing as it flew away.

Seeing a bald eagle on Sunnybook Farm always seems magical–unless it is looking for a chicken dinner.

Bitten by a bug

This happens to me ever so often. The bug is the craft bug.

I hope you enjoy the aftereffects of the bite that got me back in the 80s.

I have to admit, I’ve been bitten again, but I’m not quite ready to share what my new project is, except it is something I’ve never done before.

Where is Car-E today?

I heard a tiny meow coming from the closet. I had just set a box inside, but something else had slipped inside, too.

Any time I open a door, Car-E wants to go through it. He’s been locked in other rooms and closets before and I’m sure he will race past me into other spaces in the future.

I’ve had to retrace my steps when looking for Car-E the other day. His voice is tiny unless he has issues with our other cats.

Car-E is a smart cat, but he can’t resist an opened door. Maybe he’s looking for Narnia.

A cat story from long ago

Princess came into our lives, a stray. “Don’t touch that cat,” was my warning to our children. Too bad I didn’t listen to myself.

This video tells of the short life of Princess.

Poor kitty, but good mother cats who came to the rescue.
