Book sale! Muehl Public Library, Seymour, WI

I worked today with five other women to set up for tomorrow’s book sale. Come when the library is open Friday, from 10 to 6, and on Saturday, from 10 to 2.

Now it’s your turn to get a bargain and help support the Friends of Muehl Public Library.

There’s everything from large print books to children’s books, and let’s not forget all those cookbooks. You are bound to find something that will make your day. Also, recorded books and Playaways are also for sale at bargain prices.

Big brother and little sister, a story from 1930s

My dad loved his little sister, but he had issues with her when they were young.

I can see the boy Charlie being embarrassed by his sister.

Also, taking care of her as a baby wasn’t high on his to-do list, but if Mama said to take care of Lee, Charlie did it, if not exactly how their mother expected.

I hope you enjoyed this story from my dad.

Stella gets a taste of snow

I had a hard time catching all of Stella’s reactions. She was busy heading this way and that as she investigated the snow.

She did what a dog does when outside. She peed.

Apple Cider Rooibos tea Review

A good day for a hot cup of caffeine-free tea.

I enjoyed this tea without any sweetener. The flavor had its own sweetness.

JSA in Seymour and online has all kinds of teas and coffees that will tickle your tongue.

Still connected to Fleet Farm

Friday used to be Fleet Farm shopping day with Bob.

I continue to check out the ads. When I do stop at Fleet Farm, I remember following Bob through the aisles in search of things he needed.

The last time I was there I came home with dog food, cat food, and wild bird food. For old-times sake, I also walked through the tool department, thinking of Bob.
