Snowdrift magic

The beauty of snow takes the edge off living through a Wisconsin winter.

Looking out my back door I see contours in the snow drifts that are very creative. They were made by the wind and the blowing snow. I am appreciating them at a distance as the wind chills me. It is also safer for me inside.

A peek at the storm

I stand in the shelter of my house so the brunt of the storm is not really shown.

All I know is that it could have been worse.

Stella shows her love for snow

She ran to the end of the lead so she could get to the deeper snow.

I’ve tried to capture her snowy face before. Finally, today I got a photo with some snow on her muzzle. Too soon, she was off again investigating snowy footprints.
