Car-E says, “It’s supper time!”

Handing out supper for my house pets isn’t easy. Car-E gets especially excited.

To stop him from climbing up my leg, Car-E gets his food first.

He eats fast and if I didn’t lock him up Car-E would soon be eating any other food he could get to, even mine.

I also separate Othello and Cruella. That way I know who is eating what and how much.

Feeding time is just another adventure at my house.

Too much of a good thing

My birthday gift was a portal from my family, that and a picnic table. Today my subject is the Portal, which I love.

I now know my limits when looking at pictures of my dear Bob. When I get too sad, I find a distraction. But when I need a Bob fix, I know what I need, to be encircled by good memories.

More water fun with Car-E

I knew Car-E was interested in water but I never allowed him this close to the sink.

As I was getting a bucket of water for the beta fishbowl, I let Car-E have a closer look at the filtered water stream.

Of course, Car-E had to check it out. He flicked the water onto the floor, but those were only drops. He didn’t take a bath in the water … this time.

Now when I’m at the sink, Car-E comes for a look-see. Even when I’m washing dishes he wants to be involved. Once he almost did take a dip.

Upstairs Car-E emptied the cat water bowl, not drinking, just playing. He really keeps me on my toes.

The different looks of me

Those are the current me. Now I’m just perusing old photos to see some of my past hair styles.

Enough already. I’m really starting to feel old.

I will continue to think about my future hair cut. I’m trying to picture myself with a completely different style and wondering how adventurous I might be.

I think I’m ready

The last time I had my hair cut was mid-January. When the salon opened up in June I thought I’d keep growing my hair for a while.

It is about nine months later and I think I’m coming to my limit.

Strands of hair are always in my face and there is a mass of hair on the back of my head, I feel like I have a weight there.

I’m kind of hesitant going to have it cut, but I feel closer to the scissors every day.

Any thoughts? sunnybook@aol.com
