A Car-E short film

I found a turkey feather on the lane and brought it home.

Car-E found it and claimed it for himself. When he tired playing with it on the floor, I attached it to his homemade hanging toy.

This short cat video shows how much Car-E appreciated his ‘new’ toy.

All 19 seconds of cat fun.

Little sister Lee

My dad became a big brother when his half-sister was born. He found her a cute baby until she grew into a tattletale.

Listen as I read two of his family stories.

As Lee and dad matured, they became friends.

When Lee needed real help, Dad became her pretector.

When dust was flying

This column tells about 1989, a year when the rains failed to come.

Farmers continued to plant even though it was very dry. I tell how it felt riding through a dusty field as I worked the ground.

Perfect farm years are hard to find. Farmers continue to work rain or no rain. You never know when things will improve and rain will arrive.

In 1989, Bob and I ate a lot of dust but continued to work. It’s what we had to do to keep the farm.

Furry entertainment Car-E style

Car-E is always interested when I’m running water. This time he checked the water out as it filled the new fish tank.

I’m so happy he lives with me. Car-E entertains me daily.

This could be the invention of a new cat bubbler.
