Car-E a lost cat

After I unpacked my groceries, Car-E decided to investigate a bag.

Maybe part of him was in the handle.

I couldn’t help myself but stop what I was doing and watch his antics and video them to share.

I hope you enjoy Car-E’s cat show today.

First Music in the Park – 2021

Les James opened Seymour’s Music in the Park on June 16, 2021.

Les also celebrated 40 years of music with family and friends!

Also, Les announced his retirement. This was his last performance–tears were shed as he ended the evening.

Les James will be missed at Music in the Park.

Out early

Sunny and I were up with the sun again this morning.

Nearing summer solstice the sun greeted us just after 5. A lovely time for a walk

In the distance I heard sandhill cranes and a family of coyotes.

Mornings are be a beautiful part of the day.

Try getting up with the summer sun one day.

Pecking order

My four little hens look sweet but then at the 14 second spot in the video Marble shows who is boss.

No one was hurt and this doesn’t happen much, luckily.

Chickens, even hens, make it known who sits high on the perch.

The promise of rain

When I walked out for my mail, I saw clouds were blowing in and took this short video–it was very windy, so video is noisy.

In about 5 minutes it started to rain.

Before I could close my windows, the rain stopped.

I continue to look for rain, but there’s not much chance of getting a needed soaker.
