Tickling Sunny’s tail

Today Barn-E’s toy was Sunny’s tail. The dog didn’t seem to mind too much.

The brown paper under the table is also Barn-E’s toy. He runs, jumps, and skids around that packaging paper and I enjoy watching him.

I hope you liked seeing Barn-E and Sunny today.

A 49-hour escape

This 1987 column retells a weekend when Bob and I ran away from home. Children remained at home while we went to the UP, a rare escape.

I can’t remember another vacation Bob and I took without our children. This was it!

Sometimes we did escape from the kids, but that usually meant we were driving machinery around the farm. Those hours were not vacations, but farm work.

What is it?

A guessing game today.

I bet some people have had deliveries like this and know what it is. Others may be scratching their heads. What about you?

I’ve been sewing and needed these.

Eventually, I’ll talk about my sewing projects, but not today.

Okay, if you need to know. The flat package contains two 14 by 14-inch pillows.

Two short videos of cat helpers

After a grocery store run, I brought in my packages only have my cats try to help.

First up is Barn-E.

Now the bag is empty and Car-E steps in.

With all their help, I work faster putting away my groceries.
