The spring chorus

Let’s all sing like the birdies sing,
Tweet, tweet tweet, tweet tweet.
Let’s all sing like the birdies sing,
Sweet, sweet sweet, sweet sweet.

Yesterday, before the snow, I captured local birds tweeting their happiness.

My favorite word is cacophony. That’s what this early morning sounds like.

Swans arrive

Spring migration is going strong. Swans have stopped on the farm and in other parts of the Seymour area.

They are far away from the road so I walked down the lane and zoomed in on these white visitors.

They come and they go.

The swans are signs of spring, even when snow is predicted to fly this evening.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Sorry I was talking quietly. I was in the library.

Elizabeth surprised us, even a volunteer like me, with green shakes this morning.

I believe this was my first Shamrock shake.

Thank you, Elizabeth. You made my day.

Cat bubbler

It baffles me why the cats run for the sink when they hear the water running. They have all the drinking water they need in a bowl.

This time I was filling my humidifier when Barn-E came to lap at the water.

I have been trying to catch a photo of him with his tongue out, but most come out blurry. Barn-E is always moving.

Enjoy.
