Barn-E was rescued when his mother abandoned him.
He has grown to be quite a cat.
And a great addition to my family.

That darn cat
Car-E just about locked up my computer today.
I had the devil of a time trying to get him to move away so I could send my column out to my editor. It was just with some quick action from me that I managed to stop him from sending a blank e-mail to her. He was one determined cat. Working with one hand isn’t always the easiest when it comes to this large feline.

Suit feeder refills
Advent candles still glowing
I decided to leave these candles up until their batteries were out.
I can’t believe it is March and they are still glowing. It might be Easter before I put them away. They cheer me up every time I see them.

Snowdrift magic
The beauty of snow takes the edge off living through a Wisconsin winter.
Looking out my back door I see contours in the snow drifts that are very creative. They were made by the wind and the blowing snow. I am appreciating them at a distance as the wind chills me. It is also safer for me inside.
