Stella received a gift from my daughter today.
Rebecca took her out for a walk, no make that two walks. My dog was overjoyed.

A west wind is blowing
March is known for windy days.
Sometimes it’s good to fly a kite in March. Not today. First, there’s still a lot of snow on the ground here. Second, a kite may take you up into the sky like Mary Poppins. I’m just going to watch it from the inside so I won’t get blown over. Take care.

An unwanted night-time visitor
Spring must be close at hand. Wild animals seem to know it. Birds are returning to the area and skunks are coming out of their winter retreats, ready to find a mate.
I hope I don’t come across the path of a skunk any time. That is my hope for Stella too. When we go outside we will make lots of noise so every wild animal knows that we’re about and that they should vacate the yard.

Morning cat fun
Car-E and Barn-E start their day early.
It’s a good thing this morning they decided to keep their play off of me. Many days I have been awakened by cats running over the top of my bed and me. That is not a gentle good morning.
