A pox on you

As a mother, I always tried to find special treats for our children. One outing was the opportunity to see a Green Bay production of the Nutcracker. Well, everything didn’t go as planned that year.

Chickenpox didn’t have an immunization shot back then. Parents today are lucky they can avoid this spotty, itchy pain.

In my youth, parents would bring their kids over to a neighbor’s home, just so they would catch chickenpox. I wonder who came up with that brilliant idea.

Ten years and counting — corrected video

I hope you came back to hear this archived column.

My computer had issues with sound, both coming in and going out. It is fixed now.

I have a membership with the Geek Squad. A tech in India fixed my sound and then cleaned up my system. I didn’t have to take my computer in to the repair shop. It was fixed right in my home.

I’ve used the Geek Squad before but it took time for me to remember how to connect.

Thank you Geek Squad and Sourav for getting my computer up and running again.

technical difficulties

I had Geek squad working on my sound issues.

It is fixed but I might not get around to post again until tomorrow.

There’s a column to write, animals to feed, sunset to photograph, and someone said there’s a football game on.

Until tomorrow…..

take care

A late thanksgiving message

As I go over old columns, I never know what I’ll find. Thought I had seen all the early thanksgiving columns but I came upon another and I’m sharing it here today.

Here’s a thank-you for all who came before us.

All those who gave up lives elsewhere and came to the new world gave us a lot.

Thank you to all the grandparents and great-grandparents who wanted a better life for all their offspring.
