Avocado

A person can eat an avocado and then plant its seed.

These are my ideas about avocados.

Make sure you put the pointy end of the seed down if you try to grow an avocado tree of your own.

Also, if you have a cat, I advise you to keep it out of the cat’s reach or your pet might play your plant to death. Mine did.

Another food experiment

I think being home has made me susceptible to trying unusual food, at least unusual for me.

Amazon makes doing these food experiments easy as they can be delivered right to my door.

This video was made when my seaweed was delivered.

Remember, eating seaweed is good for you.

Since I bought more than I can eat of this snack food, I’m willing to share, so friends beware.

Okay, the first person who took my dare and tried my seaweed snack. Son Russell didn’t get past one tiny bite. He then needed another mouthful of food to rid himself of the seaweed taste.

Anyone want a taste? I can slip a square into a letter for you.

Keeping things in balance by balancing an egg

I never knew what kind of activity my children would bring home from school. Most taught me something.

This one had us going to the refrigerator for eggs, but not for cooking.

If you want to try your hand at balancing an egg, your time is fast approaching. You’ll have to get up early on March 20, 2021, as spring arrives at 4:38 am Central Time, or so this website says– https://days.to/until/spring.

I don’t think I’ll get up that early, not unless I have to take a potty run and even then, I try not to wake up too much so I’ll be heading back to bed without balancing anything.

Have a great day.

A helpful Kitty — NOT!

I never know when Car-E decides he is ready to play. This short video is my cat trying to play with a mouse, my computer mouse.

Since I’m afraid of him chewing on cords, I connected with a cordless keyboard and a cordless mouse. Now all I have to do is watch that he doesn’t go for my charging cord.

I hope you enjoy Car-E’s silliness. He makes my life interesting.

Two ingredient cookie

I never heard of such a thing. All the cookies I have ever made had multiple ingredients, with one I usually didn’t have in the house.

Here’s a 2 ingredient recipe Rebecca told me about.

Ingredients: 1 medium mashed banana and 1/2 cup oatmeal. Cinnamon is an optional third ingredient. We added 1 tablespoon of cinnamon because we like the flavor.

Drop 6 scoops of the the mixture on cookie sheet. Bake for 17 to 18 minutes at 350 F.

I now can satisfy a sweet craving with this cookie. BTW: when I googled this Banana Oatmeal cookie, I saw that other bakers added some chocolate chips. So you can be as healthy as you like.
