The meeting

Car-E is suspicious of the new kitten.

The kitten checks out the big fellow feline and is not intimidated.

I let them together for a short time while I was there to watch over their meeting.

So far, so good.

A speedy cat

This video doesn’t show his speed because I couldn’t get my camera out fast enough to capture Car-E.

The video only shows where he ended up after racing across the kitchen. Sunny had been standing in his way, but that didn’t stop Car-E. That crazy cat leaped over Sunny. He then continues racing across the room and into the paper bag. That’s where I caught him.

You’ll have to imagine the rest of his mad dash.

Collecting

Walking and gathering garbage, too.

The shredded tire couldn’t be helped, but the pitched cans could have stayed in the vehicle and been disposed of in a regular manner.

Don’t decorate Wisconsin with your garbage! Think before you toss out your car window. And don’t drink and drive!

Another 50-word story

This story has a twist on the end. I started writing about a rabbit I saw as a kid. It’s a good thing that the white rabbit from my childhood didn’t end up as the one in my story.

Don’t get upset. This is a work of fiction.

I don’t know why, but in this story, the bunny had to die.

A helping hand

My daughter Rebecca visited today and took the blower to the porch gutters.

This very short video shows her at work.

Rebecca had to crawl through a window to get to this location. A tough job but better than using a ladder.

Thank you so much for your help, Rebecca. Too bad there are still more leaves on the maple tree.
