Remembering an Ecumenical Concert

The 19th annual Ecumenical Christmas Concert was recorded. The only concert recording I know of. Too bad we didn’t capture all the loveliness of all the Seymour concerts.

I’m lucky to have a copy and I’m reliving it today as I listen to the choirs singing.

As I heard the piece, Still, Still, Still, tears came to my eyes. I felt the same feelings ages ago when I stood in the center of that choir. The beauty is still there in spirit.

Wishing you a bit of Christmas charm and beauty today and every day.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Thank you Muehl Public Library

I never expected this bouquet. Such a sweet surprise.

I love volunteering at the library. It’s one of my favorite places.

Elizabeth is the best director ever and the whole staff is great.

Thank you all.

Mail delivery

A person never knows what will arrive in her mailbox. Today I received both bills and cards.

Getting Christmas cards is much better than getting bills.

I expect a few more cards will be coming here before Christmas. By the 25th I think I’ll run out of space around my window.

Thank you all who sent me holiday greetings. I really appreciate your efforts. I definitely feel loved.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Video streaming

A tiny clip of the granddaughter Arianna’s seventh-grade choir.

This video streaming from her school made me smile.

I’m so happy to be connected to the internet even if it’s via DSL.

It helps being able to reach out to the outside world.

I look to future live streaming events and more smiles.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Barn-E with another cat toy

I’ve watched Barn-E play with this toy. He pushes it all over as he spins the trapped ball inside.

Notice, Car-E walked by, ignoring the toy.

Car-E never played with this toy even when he was a kitten. He looks like he can’t figure out what attracts Barn-E.

They are brothers, but they have different personalities.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
