A review from 3 grandchildren

We went grocery shopping today. I allowed my grandchildren to choose yogurt flavors they liked.

Everyone was curious about the Skittle-flavor, so we bought one to give it a taste test. Here’s what my three grandchildren said.

It was three thumbs down, but the yogurt was finished so not wasted.

It’s in the mail

I thought I’d let you know you can get a hardcover copy of Chicken Charlie’s Year as well as a paperback and Kindle.

It makes a great gift for boys and older family members.

It is also available at libraries.

Camping at Grandmas

Three of my grandchildren are spending time with me this week, ending with everyone coming for Camp Manzke on the weekend.

Eli, Wyatt, me, and Arianna

They made it through one night in their tent without a problem.

Worked on an art project this morning.

Tomorrow we’re going to the movies. Wednesday evening we’ll be at Music in the Park in Seymour.

Thursday is prep for Camp Manzke, which starts on Friday.

Look before you spray

Don’t be like me.

It doesn’t help to be in a hurry when finishing your hair. Take time to look at the spray bottle before you touch the nozzle.

When something like this happens, just laugh about it. I did.

Doggie day-care

I slipped Stella’s leash over a post so I could let the chickens out of their roost.

Stella would have me at her side constantly. I just wish I understood all her doggie-talk. Sometimes we don’t connect.

I think she wants food. She wants out. I think she wants out and she wants food. All the rest of the time she wants the house cats or these chickens.

When I am mistaken, I usually have a puddle to mop up.
