Checking out unused purse

Today I’m spring cleaning a purse. Maybe I’ll find a hidden treasure or money.

No riches, but I know that there are two other purses that need cleaning out. Somehow I don’t think anything left inside will make me rich.

Happy birthday, Mom

One hundred years ago today, my mother was born. Though she went to heaven in 1995, I continue to remember and love her. Today I share a short story about Mom (Isabelle Fuchs Paska).

Memories are good to have and to share. I hope you share and cherish memories of your family.

Celebrating being a columnist

I can’t believe I’m still writing a weekly column. It all started in the Farmer’s Friend in 1980.

So much of my life has gone into my column. I have many friends/readers around Wisconsin and beyond. I never expected to have so many friends because of my little stories. Most I’ve never met in person, but that makes them all very special.

Thank you to all my supporters and thank you Wisconsin State Farmer for believing in me.

One year ago these brothers met

Car-E was interested in his new little companion when I took this video.

Now both are big and often wrestle and chase each other around the house. They are good company for me.
