Tractor Supply chirps

Chickens, food, fun

Walk into the store and you’ll immediately hear them. The chicks and ducklings are for sale.

Just hearing their chirps made my day.

I stopped at Tractor Supply because I needed wild-bird seed and suet blocks. Also, I wanted a 50-pound bag of chicken layer crumbles. Of course, I couldn’t lift the large bag after my operation. That problem was easily solved. All I had to do was ask and the clerk got the bag, checked me out, and delivered everything to my car.

Too bad I couldn’t bring a few chicks home. Just taking care of my 3 hens is enough trouble for me these days.

Cats again

This video drove me crazy in more ways than one.

Unbeknownst to me, this was replaying on my computer over and over again.

I was in the kitchen by the window and kept looking out for the bird that had to be chirping on my porch. It sounded very familiar, just like my clock in the living room, but it wasn’t top of the hour, so no clock bird was chirping.

I started searching the house for this bird. Could it have gotten in when I was setting out birdseed on the front porch?

It must have been thirty minutes before I noticed the cat video was replaying with the bird chirping at the end.

I Gasslighted myself.

Tweeting today and every day

I was told to expect something in the mail, but not what would be coming.

This is the gift that arrived.

This gift keeps giving every hour on the hour, but not at night. The birds don’t chirp if it is dark.

Playtime with Barn-E

Barn-E, fun

He’s fast. He’s furious. He’s Barn-E my cat.

Barn-E loves to play with caps. He especially likes the small ones off of my protein drinks.

He tosses them and then runs after them. Often the caps end up in the water dish. He will walk away from a sunk cap, but there’s always more. Some end up in corners, but eventually, Barn-E finds them again.

It’s fun to watch Barn-E go on a new cap adventure.
