A Bob build

Years ago, when two young cats came to live with us, Bob extended the window sill in the kitchen. This was so Pete and/or Othello could sit and look out the window.

Bob never met Car-E, but I think he would be pleased to see my new cat is using the extended sill.

Today, Car-E watched a rain shower. Last night he was looking at chickens who had come up on the porch. He’s also observed outside cats, whom he might be related to.

Bob would have built many more climbing and perching shelves for our cats. He really liked seeing others who had upper shelves and tubes going from room to room for their cats.

As the other cats age they gave up on perching on the kitchen window sill.

Now it’s all Car-E’s.

“Mew,” said Car-E, which means, “thank you, Bob.”

Grocery Bag Contents

I don’t do a lot of shopping, even when there isn’t a pandemic. When I go, I have a list, so I don’t forget anything.

This day, as I emptied a bag, I found something I didn’t expect.

Car-E had a lot of fun both inside and outside that bag.

Sharing Car-E with you is my pleasure. He’s such a fun furry friend.

A short clip from a kitten’s tale

It’s time for another short clip of the life of Car-E.

It’s fun sharing Car-E’s antics with everyone.

Making these videos is the only way for others to enjoy his playfulness as no one is visiting inside these days with the virus roaming the world.

Car-E is an indoor cat, though he has tried to escape out the door. Watching for these attempts keeps me on guard. I do not want to lose my furry friend.

A kitten tale

Don’t you wish you had Car-E’s energy. He plays hard and then he stops for a nap.

When Car-E is quiet he is a pleasure to hold, soft and sweet. But when he wakes, it is time to play!

Today I share another playful Car-E with you.

Growing fast

Car-E hasn’t been here for long, only since early June. He came as a little bugger and has more than doubled in size.

In the beginning, I had a little kitten.

Car-E could be considered to be a teenager now.

It is difficult getting a photo of Car-E these days. Most are out of focus because he’s racing around the room. Only when he’s asleep can I keep him in focus.

That’s the update on Car-E for today. He makes life interesting.
