Turkey, turkey, TURKEY!

Sometime a family can have too many turkeys.

In this video I tell of the time we accidentally got hundreds of turkey chicks. It was all because my dad didn’t want to see them destroyed when the sender and receiver of the live chicks wouldn’t take them at the airport. As a surprise, Dad brought them home. Wow, that sure was an interesting summer.

Dad worked at United Airlines and this was one of most exciting things he ever brought home–it’s a good thing he never caught the monkey that got loose in the rafters of the building.

I’ve never raised turkeys since. From this experience I’ve found them to be extremely stupid birds.

Car-E in trouble again

Car-E is searching for a white cleaning sponge. He thinks it’s a cat toy.

He once found it in this cupboard and keeps returning just in case it is in there. He doesn’t know the sponge is on the top of the refrigerator. I hope he doesn’t suspect its new hiding place.

Very tiny kitten story

Here’s a fifty-word story that tells a lot about my kitten.

I figured my little kitten deserved a little story.

Still, I have to divide my time between my three cats, so more short stories to follow.

More cat info

My three cats are in this photo and are as close as the two get to Cruella.

Cruella is under the chair, Car-E is stretched out, and the kitten is romping around.

Cruella comes down for meals, but otherwise keeps her distance from the other two cats. When this video was taken she had left the room.
