A beautiful October evening

You can’t beat an autumn evening like this one.

I didn’t want to go back inside.

Too bad darkness comes so early.

I soaked in as much of this lovely evening as I could.

Stella destroying her toy

Toys only last so long with Stella.

Better that she pulls apart her toys and not pillows or other things around the house.

Yesterday it was another duck. All that is left of that toy is the rope end, which she can still be pulled around the house.

Life with Stella is always interesting.

Driving north on Miller Rd from County G flooded me with memories.

All of 1977 Bob traveled from Illinois to northeast Wisconsin, moving the family farm north.

I took the ride sometimes, leaving our two young children with grandma.

Today this view reminded me of our move when we found our forever home.

Stella wants to play with the cats, but the cats have other ideas.

Barn-E was wrestling with his big brother, Car-E, until the dog came along.

Teasing the dog is Barn-E’s best playtime.

Here’s one of my father’s stories.

Earning $5 in the thirties was quite a payday. My dad brought every cent back to his hardworking mother.
