Cat wants attention

Car-E demands attention. He often leaps up on my lap, shoulder, or just on the table in front of me so I would notice him. He doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

Once he leaped as I was lifting a cup of tea to my mouth. Ouch! It hit my teeth and spilled on me.

Oh that cat!

Dog and cat wrestling again

I’m always amazed at how well Barn-E accepts Stella’s playful attention.

The cat doesn’t run away or use his claws or teeth on the dog.

It doesn’t bother Barn-E to use his claws and/or teeth when he’s playing with me. When I get up in the morning, Barn-E attacks my toes. I have to hurry up and put on my slippers so he doesn’t damage me.

All my house pets are special and always make life interesting. They are the furry part of my family.

Dominoes!

Just the beginning of Domino season.

We didn’t keep score today, except marking who won the hands we played. I won 2 hands. Andy won four, but he took a while winning. Rebecca had a total of five games. At the beginning, she didn’t let anyone else win.

It sure was a nice way to start my weekend. Tonight it will be time spent on a Zoom Internet connection to play a Yahtzee tournament with my family. More fun for me, even if I loose.

Update on hydroponic garden

My winter garden is growing.

I saw the sprout a couple days ago. Now it is coming through the hole in the paper lid.

Probably, in another week or so, I’ll be able to pinch off a homegrown leaf of lettuce–in past years, I would walk past and take a leaf to eat just for the heck of it and munch it right there. Yum.

Winter returns

Over night the scenery changed on Sunnybook Farm.

The trees are holding onto the new snow, but not for long. The wind is starting to pick up and all the snow will soon come down.
