A review from 3 grandchildren

We went grocery shopping today. I allowed my grandchildren to choose yogurt flavors they liked.

Everyone was curious about the Skittle-flavor, so we bought one to give it a taste test. Here’s what my three grandchildren said.

It was three thumbs down, but the yogurt was finished so not wasted.

More from the garden

Homegrown tomatoes, m-m good.

If you haven’t grown your own, you’ll just have to go to a farmer’s market or a roadside stand and get some yummy tomatoes. It may be a couple of weeks before the real harvest comes in, but they are well worth the wait.

I bought my plants with a couple of blossoms on, so they had a head start. I won’t be canning any. I just like to munch them fresh off the vine.

A garden can be in a flowerpot so maybe next season you’ll grow your own tomato plant. Harvesting from there is easy.

What’s growing?

My little garden has a couple of big plants.

Zucchini fried in a bit of butter was just right for supper.

Taste test of TOE Jam

I know you’ve been waiting for this tasting of TOE Jam. Here’s my take on the jam.

The TOE Jam was yummy, even though if put to a test, I couldn’t identify the ingredients. Still, I appreciate the humor in naming this product. It will make a fun gift for family or friends.

The next time I go to Wagner’s Market in Black Creek, I’ll check out more of their jams. I will also buy another bottle of TOE Jam.

I give this product two thumbs up.

Wagner’s Market purchases.

First I found honey, but my other three purchases were a surprise, even to me.

I recommend trying other jam flavors. I’m sure the next time I go to Wagner’s Market in Black Creek I’ll try another jam flavor or two.
