Another hand exercise

I can’t quite make a fist, but added to that exercise is the one I demonstrated here today.

I can’t wait until I don’t have to think about excises and my hand is back to normal…with a little arthritis.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook farm.

A new green family member

I walked past her at least five times in the store but I eventually succumbed to her charms and brought her home. Here is my new green green-haired friend.

Broken hand exercises

My hand exercises may not look like much but they are hard work for me.

After being in a cast for so long even my unbroken fingers are stiff. I have faith though that all my hand movement will come back again. The doctor says it may take months, but I can handle it.

Cast removal

There it goes.

A pair of scissors came next to cut through the padding.

Now I have a removable brace so I can do exercises. My fingers are very stiff.

An unwanted night-time visitor

Spring must be close at hand. Wild animals seem to know it. Birds are returning to the area and skunks are coming out of their winter retreats, ready to find a mate.

I hope I don’t come across the path of a skunk any time. That is my hope for Stella too. When we go outside we will make lots of noise so every wild animal knows that we’re about and that they should vacate the yard.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook farm.
