Sunnybook Farm columnist looking for readers

I’ll never make a fortune writing or even a living at it, but I continue to hope people enjoy reading my column. Now I don’t just want you to read my column in the Wisconsin State Farmer newspaper, I want to click on my column on WisFarmer.com on the Internet.

I don’t only want you to click and read my column, I want you to tell your friends, too. Sharing is the word we use on Facebook. Sharing is good.

Readers are always appreciated and you don’t have to be a farmer. My columns are about family life.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

I can’t trust my cat or my dog.

The cat flicked it off the table. The dog took it from there.

I think the cat likes to toss things onto the floor, just to get the dog in trouble. Besides this object, Stella has been given pencils and pens, which she chewed up. Of course, the cat looks innocent from his perch, away from the problem items. After all, it was the dog who chewed things to pieces, not the cat.

Feeding the birds

I start my morning by feeding my cats and dog. I also feed the birds, wild birds that is.

I set out the birds’ food and they entertain me by coming to my feeder.

I think the birds and I are good for each other.

Diving into another purse.

I went into another closet and found another purse that needed purging. Here’s what I found.

My last purse cleaning had different finds. Today I found money! Well, sort of.

I know I have at least two more purses that need cleaning out. Look for another purse purging in the future.

It didn’t add up

When I met Bob I was a bookkeeper for Frankfort Grain and Lumber. Today I struggled to find a mistake in my checkbook.

Working on my checkbook didn’t brighten my gloomy Wisconsin day. But at least the mistakes were found and I can move on and pay my bills.
