One day at a time

Tired but okay.

I tire out easily and I’m very tired of my Full Liquid diet, which will continue for another week. At least it’s not a clear liquid diet like I had right after the operation.

I love Chinese egg drop soup but have to drain out the egg bits. I also have to take any mushroom and chicken bits out of canned creamed soup.

Even with sipping soup. It goes down slowly and hurts some. It may take me an hour to eat.

Rachel just went home after being here a week. She could work on the Internet, so Rae had the opportunity to be with me as I readjusted to home.

My children have taken care of me. I appreciate each and every one of them.

Now I’m tired.

All prepped and ready to go

I continue to share my life, even when surgery is in the offing.

Thanks for all your support and prayers.

I will be very happy when my life is back to normal.

A special diet snack

Not much of a diet, but I appreciate even the small snacks I get.

I’m drinking a lot of clear liquids which are okay and very necessary.

At least, there’s an end to this diet … eventually. I am counting down the days. I know I’ll be on a special diet after my operation and then ease into a regular diet, but that’s okay. I can manage.

The liquid diet continues

I can do this. That’s my attitude. A liquid diet, with 2 little snacks, isn’t easy, but doable.

I’m trying not to think of regular food.

So far, so good.
