Oops!

When I walked back into the kitchen, I gasped. I just missed running my dishwater over.

In the past, I have run water onto the floor. I’m happy this didn’t happen today.

If I had, I’d be washing the floor. Maybe I should do that, but not because I flooded the kitchen.

Shopping local at Wagner’s

When Highway 47 opened, I took a ride to Black Creek. My first stop was Wagners at the corner of 47 and 54.

I needed honey and also wanted some of their unusual jams. Besides Monkey Butter (Banana, Pineapple, Mango), I also have GATOR Jam (Ginger, Apple, Tangerine, Orange, Raspberry). Next to that, I saw Orange Marmalade so brought that home, too. Unopened, these jars of goodness last a long time.

It was a good outing for me and profitable for a local vendor.

My silent fireworks

Last night, they lit up my backyard in the late evening.

It warmed my heart watching them change colors.

In this video, I also show some of my other solar lights.

I’m a big fan of solar lights. Stella’s dog fence has two solar motion-detection lights that brighten the yard for us at night.

Quiet fireworks

I love solar garden lights and yesterday I decided to buy some that represent fireworks to me. They arrived around 5:30 am!!!

They came in three parts and were easy to assemble. As soon as I turned them on, they started to light up. After a day in the sun, they should light the night for ten hours.

In the photo, I took of myself with the box and light is my cat Barn-E. He wanted to play with the dangling fibers–oh that cat! The lights will be put in my yard where Barn-E doesn’t go.

All I can say is these lights made me happy. (It was unreal that Amazon delivered them so early today.)

The Van Gogh experience

Read about Vincent Van Gogh and then witness the experience in this large room–35 minutes video.

I went with my daughter Rebecca. We were impressed by the experience. The floor, walls, and posts were all used to display Vincent’s art. It was amazing. I could have sat there all day and watched it over and over.

Stary night mesmerized the watchers.
