Burger Fest begins with balloons

Incoming thunderstorms kept the balloons on the ground. Even though they weren’t flying, the crowd loved to see them.

Hopefully, on Saturday evening, they will be flying over Seymour, Wisconsin.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Stella at sunrise

The cats wake me, but it’s Stella who needs a walk in the morning.

She never found a rabbit today, but she did find a good place to poop. That’s life with a dog.

Cat in a box

Spitz was having fun this morning.

The paper in the box caught his attention. His paw would pop out of the box hole to hit the paper.

Enjoy.

Amish horses

I had lunch with my friends before photographing their horses. It was a wonderful day all around.

I had a two-hour drive to get to their farm. Happily, rain didn’t disrupt my day. It’s hard to plan a visit when a date had to be picked weeks in advance. Letters in the mail were how we communicated.

These four are the pride and joy of my friend’s farm.
