Freezing to capture birds at feeder

I was only going to be outside for a few seconds, but the birds kept flitting to the feeder.

The blue jay is bossy. When it comes to the feeder, other birds scatter. But when I’m trying to get bird pictures, the blue jays become shy.

I’m heading into town today to get more peanuts at Pulaski Warehouse. I buy the 50-pound bag. It’s unbelievable how much those birds eat, along with sunflower seeds.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Beer can litterbug

These cans were found scattered along the west ditch of my road. I walked and picked them up, and recycled them properly.

It’s bad enough that probably the same litterbugs are tossing their garbage out for others to pick up.

The worst part is that this litterbug was drinking and driving! That’s not good news for anyone else using the road.

I hope whoever is tossing trash out their car/truck window grows up and remembers what their mother told them when they were young. “Throw your trash in the garbage can, not on the floor or on the road.” Also, “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!”

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
