Mail delivery

A person never knows what will arrive in her mailbox. Today I received both bills and cards.

Getting Christmas cards is much better than getting bills.

I expect a few more cards will be coming here before Christmas. By the 25th I think I’ll run out of space around my window.

Thank you all who sent me holiday greetings. I really appreciate your efforts. I definitely feel loved.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Remember your cash

Too many people passed my red kettle saying they didn’t have any cash. I’m here to remind you to tuck some change or bills in your pocket when you venture out. You wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity to donate to the Salvation Army.

Someone missed their scheduled time bell ringing so I stepped in for a short time.

Just a reminder to either ring or give, or do both. Everything helps.

Sissy’s Treats and Treasures

Looking for a special gift, think of one of my books. They can be found in Seymour on Main Street at Sissy’s Treats and Treasures.

Also, consider a copper tree made by my daughter, Rebbecca. An assortment of trees can be found at Sissy’s, too.

There a many, many things at Sissy’s, if you need something special.

Lighting a candle

My candles aren’t new, but taking the four from the box brings back good memories.

This is how the battery operated candles work.

Not too many decorations here because of my cats, but little by little I’m lighting holiday lights in my windows.

Fighting the blues

Getting through our wedding anniversary yesterday gave me the blues. The more people told me what a great guy Bob was made me even sadder. I could have stayed home and been sad, but that’s not what I did.

My little video tells how I helped cheer myself up.

I’m already looking forward to the next BINGO outing.

I hope more friends who live close decide to join us in St. John the Baptist school gym on December 15 at 1. Bingo is the first and third Wednesday of the month. It’s free unless you add to the freewill donation bucket.

Don’t sit home alone, come join us.

Until next time, that’s it from Sunnybook Farm.
