Three short videos

They are gathering and soon will be heading south for the winter.

Sandhill Cranes and Canada geese are the biggest and easiest to spot.

They were silent this evening.

One last bird was trying to catch up with the rest.

I sure hope the one found its friends before nightfall. It’s better to travel with family and friends.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

An outside view of birds at feeder

This time I stood out in the cool of the morning, capturing these birds at the feeder.

I really wanted to get the blue jays, but they were too shy and mostly stayed in the trees.

Those same blue jays usually are the bullies at the feeder. When they show up, others wait to take their turns.

Today the little guys came, even though I stood nearby.

Wildbirds at the feeder are my entertainment.

Until next time, that’s all there is on Sunnybook Farm.

Feeding the birds

This feeder used to be filled to the top. Because of raccoons, I add a little food every morning so there is nothing else left at the end of the day.

This is what happens each morning. It’s breakfast time for the birds.

One of my favorite songs is Feed the Birds from the movie, Mary Poppins.
