Lighting a candle

My candles aren’t new, but taking the four from the box brings back good memories.

This is how the battery operated candles work.

Not too many decorations here because of my cats, but little by little I’m lighting holiday lights in my windows.

Until next time, that’s it from Sunnybook Farm.

Fighting the blues

Getting through our wedding anniversary yesterday gave me the blues. The more people told me what a great guy Bob was made me even sadder. I could have stayed home and been sad, but that’s not what I did.

My little video tells how I helped cheer myself up.

I’m already looking forward to the next BINGO outing.

I hope more friends who live close decide to join us in St. John the Baptist school gym on December 15 at 1. Bingo is the first and third Wednesday of the month. It’s free unless you add to the freewill donation bucket.

Don’t sit home alone, come join us.

Until next time, that’s it from Sunnybook Farm.

Collecting

Walking and gathering garbage, too.

The shredded tire couldn’t be helped, but the pitched cans could have stayed in the vehicle and been disposed of in a regular manner.

Don’t decorate Wisconsin with your garbage! Think before you toss out your car window. And don’t drink and drive!

Happy Halloween

A fifty-word story for you from me this Halloween.

This is your treat for today.

I hope your Halloween is filled with many treats and no tricks.

Until next time, that’s it from Sunnybook Farm.

The real me

After a walk outside I didn’t pay attention to my hair. It wasn’t until I decided to do a quick video that I saw what I looked like.

This short video shows the real me.

I even surprised myself.

Wearing winter caps will create more hairdos like this, I’m sure.

Next week highs around here will be in the 40s and lows in the 20s. That means hats to stay warm outside and crazy hairdos when I come in.

Until next time, that’s it from Sunnybook Farm.
