I worked today with five other women to set up for tomorrow’s book sale. Come when the library is open Friday, from 10 to 6, and on Saturday, from 10 to 2.
Now it’s your turn to get a bargain and help support the Friends of Muehl Public Library.
There’s everything from large print books to children’s books, and let’s not forget all those cookbooks. You are bound to find something that will make your day. Also, recorded books and Playaways are also for sale at bargain prices.

These cans were found scattered along the west ditch of my road. I walked and picked them up, and recycled them properly.
It’s bad enough that probably the same litterbugs are tossing their garbage out for others to pick up.
The worst part is that this litterbug was drinking and driving! That’s not good news for anyone else using the road.
I hope whoever is tossing trash out their car/truck window grows up and remembers what their mother told them when they were young. “Throw your trash in the garbage can, not on the floor or on the road.” Also, “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!”

We worked together making cards and other items for people in nursing homes, those in the military, and special needs people.
Quilts are also part of the projects these women make. I’m not as handy with a sewing machine, so I stick to paper projects. I can handle a scissors, a stapler, and a glue stick.
A potluck was held mid-day, which as always, was tasty.
I bowed out a little early as my dog Stella needed to be taken out for her mid-day walk.
Picture Perfect is held yearly, except when the pandemic interfered with the gathering. Hopefully that will never happen again.
