New flower watering bottle

If you are tired of getting wet when watering a hanging basket, this might be for you.

(The sounds in the background of this video are from Car-E and Barn-E as they wrestle around my kitchen.)

The cats and my kitchen survived the roughhousing.

The cost for the watering bottle was $15.99, so it wasn’t too cheap. Here’s the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CH2XNMP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you get a cheaper one, great.

First blooms of the season

Spring is finally coming to the farm.

Storms are in the offing this evening. Fingers crossed that these don’t get beat down by hail.

More tulips will be popping open soon.

It’s just the beginning of a colorful growing season.

Mothers Day

I was lucky to have company today. Three-quarters of my family drove to the farm. The other quarter had flu, and rightfully stayed home. Gifts today were blooming and will continue for months to come.

I do love the gifts, but I love the hugs even more.

Also, some yard work took place as children and grandchildren picked up sticks and pine cones.

I am blessed.

My star flower!

This amaryllis bulb was gifted to me some years ago by son-in-law Andy. It keeps giving.

I appreciate its beauty and had to share it as all four blossoms opened.

The second bulb named Susan is taking its time growing. I guess she wanted her own spotlight.

There are baby bulbs that will eventually bloom in the future. These flowers just keep on giving.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
