Pet water dish fun

Spitz really liked playing with the ice cubes in the water. Car-E checked it out but didn’t do much playing today.

The ice cubes cooled off my pets. If you do this for your cats and/or dog, be prepared to find a puddle of water on the floor.

Night visitors

Raccoons often roam my property. This night they came looking for food.

They took off after hearing my dog in the house.

Car-E as a kitten

I rescued this little ball of fur after his mother left him in the wheelwell of my car four years ago.

I wrote about that rescue in my column in the Wisconsin State Farmer in 2020. He was one lucky cat and I’m a lucky cat lady.

Cat in the box — the dog is interested

Spitz was enjoying his time in a box. Stella encouraged the cat to leave his hiding place.

These two can change their play in seconds. This time Spitz preferred to stay in the box. Stella was disappointed.

Cats at play

Spitz wonders why he can’t get the ball out.

Barn-E thought he could solve the problem of the trapped ball. Of course, he couldn’t.
