My old cat, Cruella, usually spends her time upstairs. Today she joined me in the kitchen.
For most of her life, Cruella hid from company. Lately, she’s been showing up, at least for a little while. She even let visiting children pet her the other day, which amazed me.
Bob was her person of choice. She used to sit on his chest as he sat in his lounge chair. So often, she walked over me to get to him. I think she misses her favorite human.

Some family and friends have visited this house and have never seen my cat, Cruella. She doesn’t like company.
Today this video shows that Cruella does leave her hiding place once in a while.
She’s a sweetie, but she hates Car-E and yells at him when he gets in her space.
