A match between Car-E and Stella

A lot of this match took place before I could grab my phone to record it.

I never thought Car-E would play with Stella, but he has relented and taken on the puppy.

The first time Car-E met Stella he used his claws to tell her to back off. Car-E never used his claws in this playful match.

Life is better here now that Car-E accepts Stella as a roommate.

Feline entertainment

Car-E and Barn-E were roughhousing. It was fun to watch them until my stuff ended up on the floor.

This video was their gentler wrestling time. I missed capturing the real rough stuff.

These two are brothers. Car-E is 2 years old. Barn-E will be 1 in August.

Maybe in a year, their roughhousing won’t be so rough. I might miss this rough fun–I say might.

Cabinet locks for fur-babies

I’ve had enough with cats opening my kitchen cabinets.

I bought stick-on baby locks to keep them out.

See the white latches holding the cabinet doors shut. Car-E tried to open one and was unsuccessful.

The Baby Locks by Skyla work! Now all I have to do is to wash a couple more cabinet doors and stick the locks in place. Car-E and Barn-E will have to look elsewhere to cause chaos–which they are sure to do.

Car-E Vs. Barn-E

To start their day, my cats basked in the morning sun. Their moment of calm soon changed and turned into a wrestling match.

After running away, Barn-E hid behind my feet.

Car-E eventually stretched out in the sun again.

I had to share this with you this morning. I captured this video after writing my weekly column about sending Sunny over the rainbow bridge. These two are helping bring sunshine back into my life.

Kitty brawl

This brawl continued through the living room and into the kitchen.

Along the way, things were knocked to the floor.

And Barn-E took the time to attack my ankles. I have the scratches to prove it.

Still, they entertained me. Go figure.
