Snow — no-snow for Stella

It’s spring, but that doesn’t stop the snow. I woke up to six inches of the white stuff yesterday, only to have the sun melt a good portion today.

Stella loves sticking her nose into the snow, smelling the footprints of barn cats and other critters. She also follows her nose in the grassy areas. Stella is a nosy dog.

Spitz again

Spitz loves the shower curtain. He often jumps out from behind it to attack his brother cats.

I would not be surprised if I came into that bathroom one day and found the whole thing on the floor. Of course, Spitz would be hiding, away from the scene of the crime.

A spring snow event

We didn’t have snow on Christmas. This spring snow is closer to Easter.

In Wisconsin, the seasons often meet and cross.

Precipitation is needed across the state, so this snow is helpful.

I’m happy I don’t have to drive anywhere today. I’ll just sit and watch the return of winter.

Spitz wants to eat fish for supper

All the cats like this toy, flopping fish. Today, Spitz had it by its tail.

The fish is often motionless on a shelf. I forget to plug it in to recharge it.

Last night I remembered to plug it in and today Spitz benefited from its floppy movement.

Geese happily honking

Watching geese return to the area makes me smile. Their honking tells me they are happy to return to their summer home.

I wonder if they will be happy when snow comes to the area in a few days.

I wouldn’t mind a spring rain, but I would like to pass on an accumulation of snow. Too bad the geese and I won’t have a choice.
