Polkas by the New Generation

Some songs were sung in Polish. Feet were tapping and some were dancing.

It was a warm evening, yet over two hundred people came out for Polkas at the gazebo in Seymour.

More free music every Wednesday evening on Depot Street through August.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

The Van Gogh experience

Read about Vincent Van Gogh and then witness the experience in this large room–35 minutes video.

I went with my daughter Rebecca. We were impressed by the experience. The floor, walls, and posts were all used to display Vincent’s art. It was amazing. I could have sat there all day and watched it over and over.

Stary night mesmerized the watchers.

Thunder Country music in the park

The first Seymour in the park for 2023 was with Thunder Country.

It was a great way to start our Wednesday night music season for the summer.

Playing Jukebox at the Seymour Community Museum

Anyone can come to the museum and play old tunes on this machine and it won’t cost even a nickel.

Young people will be amazed at this machine. Parents and grandparents can tell the youngsters how they used to play 45s like this as they sipped on malts and shakes at local malt shops.
