New to me

I was told to try this buffet restaurant in New London, Wisconsin. Today I had a late lunch there alone.

I enjoyed the food I tasted, but my favorite was crab Rangoon. The ones I had were nicely filled. I even bought some to reheat at home.

I limited my menu today. There are many more items I’d like to try. I guess I’ll have to make another trip to New London, soon. It’s only about a thirty-minute drive.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Homemade jam

I bought the plums at a discount rate, but the Plum Good Jam I made is first class.

Yummy jam, made with my own little hands.

Some went into the freezer to be eaten later. In winter, I’ll be able to have a taste of summer.

A special chocolate treat

Sometimes I need a little chocolate to get through my day. Here’s the chocolate treat I made for myself today.

I had orange sherbet left over after Camp Manzke. I thought, what the heck? I’ll see how the orange sherbet goes together with chocolate syrup.

My review of the mixture: it was yummy. Just what I needed today.

FROG Jam tasting

Here’s my tasting of FROG Jam.

I love the humor that went into naming this jam.

The jams I have been tasting were made for GJ Farmstand. You probably won’t find them anywhere but at Wagner’s Market, Black Creek, WI.

Yummy Monkey butter

The name of this butter is odd, but it is delicious. Just listen as I taste it.

Someone uses a great sense of humor in naming these products.

I hope you stop by Wagners in Black Creek and select something for yourself.

BTW, the Monkey Butter cost me $5.25 for 19 oz.
