Cats perch on the porch

It was a nice day on the porch for two of my cats.

It was time to enjoy a nice day.

Cat wrestling came later.

Spitz really liked playing with the ice cubes in the water. Car-E checked it out but didn’t do much playing today.

The ice cubes cooled off my pets. If you do this for your cats and/or dog, be prepared to find a puddle of water on the floor.

I rescued this little ball of fur after his mother left him in the wheelwell of my car four years ago.

I wrote about that rescue in my column in the Wisconsin State Farmer in 2020. He was one lucky cat and I’m a lucky cat lady.

This video is from 2 years ago. These two still wrestle, but a third cat is often involved.

They have fun wrestling and no one gets hurt. If things got too rough, I would have stopped their roughhousing.

When furry pests can be a problem, I lock this gate.

They could leap over it if they choose to, but they haven’t yet.

Soon all three will be free to run and play throughout the house and relax on the enclosed porch.
