A bald eagle being bullied

I heard the eagle before I saw it perched high in a pine tree in my backyard.

The blue jays knew it was there and they didn’t like it. They took turns harassing the eagle. Eventually, the big bird left the tree.

I was happy to see the eagle. I was also happy when it left. My barn cats could have become the eagle’s breakfast.

My cats came to the front porch looking for their food. Some crossed the lawn.

I’m happy the eagle didn’t go for a cat.

Fingers crossed that the eagle doesn’t return.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Hummingbird at feeder

I was standing very still, waiting for the hummingbird to return. One would come and another would chase it away.

After many tries, I was lucky to get this video.

A pleasant evening

The wind was wild all day long. Finally, it faded at sunset.

A wonderful way to end a day.

Spitz alone

I caught my youngest cat, Spitz, being cute.

You’ll hear a meow from another cat during this video, but Spitz is quiet.

Car-E and Barn-E

Barn-E was the smaller wrestler in this video but he kept returning for more fun.

Today both are full grown, but Car-E is still the larger cat.
