Saving Family Stories — lesson 12

Halloween comes into play in this lesson. Again I use one of my dad’s stories as an example.

Do you have a Halloween story to share? Write it down or record it before it escapes you again.

How many cats do you see?

This cuddle of farm cats is on my front porch. Can you count them?

You can not cuddle with these cats, but three will let you pet them. The fourth will run away.

Saving Family Stories — lesson 11

Today I share a story from my father that took place in the late 1920s.

Dad told stories that made us laugh. His written stories weren’t as good as those he told, but they are special to all the family.

Don’t let your memories slip away. Write one down today.

Saving Family Stories — lesson 9

You may find that you have too many stories in your head and don’t know where to start. My short videos give you suggestions and a short story of my own to get you going.

Now that you are thinking about something from your childhood, write it down or record it before you forget.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
