First meeting

The kitten hissed and spit at Stella, but both were intrigued with the other.

I waited a couple of days before setting up this meeting. The kitten was afraid of the dog. Stella was warry of the hissing and spitting as the other cats that live here don’t talk to her that way.

Kitten drinking

At first, this kitten wasn’t sure what to do with the formula.

There was more milk than it needed, but watching it drinking on its own was good.

The last kitten rescued

A few days ago, I saw the barn cat with kittens–three or four. In a day or two, she was down to one kitten.

I searched the barns to see if she left the rest behind somewhere, but I found no other kittens. I decided to bring this one in before it became food for wild critters. It’s shy but is slowly getting used to me.

The kittens now number four

The mother brought up two more kittens yesterday. Now there are four.

All kittens are cute. I just hope the mother takes good care of these.

Mother cat with two kittens

She kept her kittens hidden. Today she brought out two.

I wonder if there are more and will search the barn in case she left any behind.
