Mom, do you need that? asked the cat.

I was right there, actually using the radio remote. At that moment it was set to mute.

Car-E saw no need for the gadget to be on the table. Off it went.

Nothing stays forever in its place if Car-E is around.

I just found a cherry on the floor. Maybe I had knocked it out of the refrigerator. Or maybe Car-E had plucked it from the scrap food bucket that was heading to the chickens.

It had to be Car-E. He was after the cherry again when I replaced it in the bucket. I guess it had a good wobble role on the floor and Car-E thought it a fun toy.

Oh, that darn cat.

One wild cat

Car-E figured out that the gizmo held in my hand made the red dot on the floor. Today he really wanted to play and he went for the pointer.

This video was taken after the disaster he caused.

My little TV table ended up tipping when Car-E leaped for the pointer. My tea ended up on the floor.

As Car-E fell with the table, he fell down my leg and used his claws. Ouch!

Crazy thing is, I still love him.

A playful Car-E cat

It wasn’t easy getting Car-E to play today. He didn’t want to chase a toy or a balled-up paper.

Finally, a laser light got his attention.

Cruella was hiding under the couch. Once her paw came out, but sadly I didn’t catch it on the video. Maybe another time.

Now Car-E is getting into trouble. I hear things falling in the next room. I guess I better check on him.

Car-E helps unpack

I slit the tape on the box, but before I could empty my art supplies, Car-E became interested in the contents of the box.

Because my cat was so involved, I grabbed my phone to video his actions.

My video stops before he could pull more from the box. Who knows what would attract him. A small plastic bag was being dragged out next. It was time to close the box.

Cat toys have been given to his feline for playtime. Playing with one of these may keep him busy for a minute, but Car-E prefers to make toys out of non-cat-type items.

Car-E takes a shower

It was time to fill the dog water bowl with filtered water. Car-E had to investigate.

Running water always catches his attention.

As he splashed at the stream of running water, I was splashed, too.

Just another day with my curious cat.
