Barn-E the destroyer

Odd sounds brought me to this corner of the house. This is what I found.

Ugh! Barn-E was in trouble again.

I don’t know if I should replace the blinds yet. Maybe I’ll wait until he loses interest.

Feline helpers unpack books

Finally, the first box of my books arrived. Of course, my cats had to help with the unpacking.

These were paperback copies. Hopefully soon, I’ll have hardback books, too.

Copies of All the Queen’s Crowns are for sale on Amazon and Barns & Nobel. Of course, if you are close, you can buy a copy from me.

Barn-E teases Dog

Stella wants to play with the cats, but the cats have other ideas.

Barn-E was wrestling with his big brother, Car-E, until the dog came along.

Teasing the dog is Barn-E’s best playtime.

They are all fun to watch.

Cat vs. socks & toes

This is how I start my day. I try to get dressed with the help of my cat Barn-E.

He has sharp claws and teeth, which can hurt a little, but he’s also so cute, so I put up with his crazy obsession.

Barn-E has also hung onto the legs of my pants. I have to remove him so I can pull up my jeans.

Having pets living with me makes life interesting.

Barn-E the cat at play

A cap toy for the cat, but not for the dog.

Barn-E had a whole bunch of these caps scattered around the house before Stella arrived. After the puppy started putting them in her mouth, I had to find and retrieve them all.

Too bad for Barn-E, his cap collection is down to two red caps and these are rationed.

But play he did today.
