Dog on a pretty winter day

Stella loves the snow.

This was a nice winter day, unlike the blizzard that is happening today.

I will go outside after the big snowstorm, but not during the blowing and the wicked weather.

Happy birds at the feeder

I put peanuts and sunflower seeds out daily.

Bob made these wood birdfeeders some years ago. I don’t fill them up because raccoons come and empty them at night. You can see that the door is at an odd angle. The raccoons did that.

The shelled peanuts are the favorite food of the bluejays. The cardinals (not in the video) like the sunflower seed the best.

There are other feeders around my porch so birds of all kinds can find food here.

New cat toy

Spitz had the ring of plastic and Car-R wanted the toy, too.

Funny, how it’s the little things that attract cats.

Everything is a toy.

Cats check out Cat Tower

My cats love climbing and scratching their towers. This new one is to replace the one that is in shreds.

Spitz was the first to check out their new tower. The other cats came and took their turn, too.

This model may be weaker than the other ones I’ve had. Saving money may have been a mistake. Still, they should have a lot of fun playing on it for quite a while.

A cat puzzle

Cats play with everything, even food.

Did you guess?

It’s a piece of dry bread.
