I have a fast dog. Stella loves to race around her yard, especially in the snow.
I had her on her extendable leash, but she couldn’t really let loose until I set her free in her pen. It’s a good time for her to get out some of her puppy energy. No way can I keep up with her.
Now she is inside, at my feet, sleeping, getting more energy for her next romp.

A nice afternoon to take Stella for a walk. Sometimes I think she is taking me for a walk.
It is cold but not windy. This makes the day perfect to be outside as long as you have a warm jacket. Stella has grown a thicker coat for the winter. It’s nice and soft.

These two do play together, but when things get too tough for the cat, he can get away by slipping behind this gate.
Stella used to be able to get through the cat door, but now she’s too big. Barn-E can escape from rough play, but often he puts up with Stella.
I keep an eye on all, just in case play gets out of hand.

I spent $10 today on a new chew toy for Stella. It was leather and said to be durable. It didn’t last long at all. Maybe an hour, if that
Instead of cotton or foam stuffing, it had jute which went all over the floor.
So frustrating and costly.

Stella is tough on dog toys, even the toughest.
She can take a stuffed bear and turn it into a pile of thread in minutes. Today’s toy is supposed to be tough. We’ll see what it looks like by the end of the day.
