It’s always fun watching a cat play.

I told my friend Bev that I didn’t want anything for my birthday. So she gave me toys for my cats and treats for my dog. Bev’s a smart and kind lady.

My half-grown kitten wanted to play with his string and with my hand.

I’d rather his rough play be confined to the string. Spitz has claws that need trimming… Ouch!

Spits was there first, but Car-E wanted to claim his box back.

Putting paper in a box makes it more fun for a cat.

A lot of the time, this box is a nest for Car-E.

Up and down cats

Barn-E, Car-E, Spitz

Not much action today. Just three cats hanging out on the top of the stairs.

The big guys had me up at five this morning. Car-E sat on my chest while Barn-E nibbled on my fingers. They wanted breakfast, but I made them wait until six.

Life with house cats is always interesting.
