Christmas cards are taken down

It’s time to remove my Christmas cards.

I used a grabber to do this sad chore.

Now I’m thinking of things that can brighten a dreary January day.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

A growing gift

It’s out of the box, but I still don’t know exactly what my gift is.

I could ask, but I kind of like having a mystery gift in my hands.

I think I’ll wait to see what kind of flower pops out. It shouldn’t take too long before it reveals itself to me.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

Sharing cards

Sending out blessings to you and your kin.

As I have received blessings from family and friends.

I did not decorate much this year but I have to hang the cards that came my way. The greetings are always special.

Wishing you time with family during this holiday season.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.

A modern star of Bethlehem

Nine of these stars are in the windows of my home.

They turn on around 5 and off about 11. I have them set so they use all the different blinking patterns.

I don’t decorate much, but I do like the use of lights. My late husband used to help me string outside lights. He never cared for this chore, but Bob did it for me.

When coming home from the hospital after Bob’s 6-bypass surgery, I felt the lights welcomed me home.

Until next time, that’s all there is from Sunnybook Farm.
