An ordinary morning with my cats

Not much is happening with these three today. They woke me early so I could feed them.

Spitz gobbled his food and then checked out his brother’s bowl. It’s funny that Big Boy Car-E leaves more in his bowl, while wirey Spitz is always looking for leftovers.

Memorial Day 2024

Two school bands played and marched in the annual parade today through Seymour.

The route wasn’t the usual one because of road work, but people still came out to honor our fallen military.

A cat’s tail becomes a toy

Spitz had fun this morning. He’s the only cat who has had fun this way.

Again, feline entertainment keeps me going and laughing.

Geese in the rain

I loved seeing these geese, but I wasn’t pleased with the falling rain.

I’m happy I got the video, but I ended up getting pretty wet as I hurried back to the house.

Pileated Woodpecker eating at feeder

This guy has been visiting my front porch. He loves the shelled peanuts I put out.

I had to stand still to take this video. The first few attempts, he saw me and flew away.

Finally, the woodpecker stayed so I could take this video.

Enjoy.
